Sand Feeding Equipment

A sand feeding installation designed by Neu and Sam Technology Engineers is a clean and efficient way to fill the sand boxes of rolling stock. The sand distribution system can be fixed or mobile. A fixed system is used for servicing several tracks simultaneously or the Mobile system services one rolling stock or remote location.

A large range of sand pumps including mobile arm or fixed arm is available. The Neu sand fluidisation design guarantees no wear in pipes when using stainless steel.

The systems are fully automatic and shut off when the sand box is full. The sand pumps are automatically filled, and humidifiers ensure the sand is free of moisture.
