Depending on the size of the train configuration we offer two wash plant concepts: drive-through and mobile gantry systems. Each wash plant is designed to suit the customer’s requirements.

The drive-through system is comprised of stationary washing stations. This system is used to wash longer trains on a continuous cycle. The mobile gantry system is used to wash shorter trains and trams that are stationary. This system is ideal for all trains and trams that cannot be moved to a remote washing plant.

Generally, a wash plant will consist of different wash stations, each responsible for a specific task. The stations include pre-wet, detergent application, scrubbing (brushing), and rinsing (pre and final) stations, to ensure an excellent cleaning result for all exterior washes. A full range of accessories including water and detergent spray nozzles and brushes are available. Water reclamation and recycling systems are also utilised ensuring the system complies with the local government regulations.
